MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELLOR

The job of a mental health counsellor is to assist and work with individuals, families and groups with issues that impact their psychological state and overall well-being. Mental health counsellors are trained to deal with a wide scope of issues related to mental health and they help people manage or overcome mental and emotional disorders and problems with their family and relationships. They listen to patients and ask questions to help the clients understand their problems and develop strategies to improve their lives.
