Our Hearty Congratulations to the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) for the progress made and the impact created over the years in the healthcare sector

One of the biggest concerns for healthcare in India is the delivery and skill reach. There are over 600 million people who do not have access to quality care in India, and 5.8 billion globally. A study by IBM suggests that less than 10 percent of the rural population in India have access to hospitals. More than 70 percent of India's population lives in rural areas.

Aiming to change this, Apollo MedSkills in India is working with Healthcare sector skill council for training youth of India to equip them with the necessary skills for healthcare and empowering them with livelihood opportunities resulting in better patient-care.

A huge academic impact has been made through developing relevant training curriculum and training delivery, by our trainers, based on the changing requirements of the healthcare ecosystem is the key to the success of this journey of HSSC and Apollo MedSkills. HSSC support in extending accreditations to our training centres spread across India has been very encouraging, it resulted in industry recognition on our ability and competence for conducting assessments, their efforts in drawing the guidelines and norms for conducting the trainings, assessments, certi?cation are signi?cant and commendable.

It was a great opportunity for Apollo MedSkills to contribute as the knowledge partner for the IndiaSkills 2018 national competition and representing India in the WorldSkills 2019 in the health and social care category is a milestone achieved for the healthcare sector.

With the continued support from HSSC, healthcare skilling partners like Apollo MedSkills can contribute in a big way to create a robust and vibrant eco-system for quality vocational education and skill development can be created in the healthcare sector of the country.

With Best Wishes,
