Training & Certification of Assessors

Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) organizes Master Training Session for the Assessors to enhance the quality of assessment of students undergoing allied health courses(active job roles launched).

Objective:

a) To train the Medical Professionals to carry out the standardized & qualitative assessments of students undergoing training for different job roles of allied health on the basis of National Occupational Standards set by HSSC.

b) To install the concept of quality in assessment so that the participants acquire optimum skills to carry our assessment.

c) To certify assessors by Health Care Sector Skill Council, who may in turn become master trainer for future program as well as empanel them to perform assessment of students undergoing these allied health courses in our affiliated training institutes (on requirement basis)

d) To enhance the knowledge, understanding and need for National Occupational Standard for the job role in Health care.

Target Participants: Registered Medical Professionals (registered with state council or any other council approved by the government of India) with experience in teaching or clinicalpractices. The professionals may approach to HSSC who are associated with HSSC accredited assessing bodies or willing to be associated with HSSC assessment process performed in affiliated training institutes located in pan India

Eligibility Criteria: As per requisite qualification of trainers set by HSSC for each job role.

Training Details: It would be 2 days training programme (For Date, Venue and Agenda, refer to Train the Assessor Program Calendar)

Training Material: Each participant will receive course contents of training program in CD including learning and reference material, assessment standards and techniques and sample question papers.

Agenda of program: The training programme will be a combination of lectures (from experts in the field), video presentations, demos and panel discussions and will involve active participation.

Fees Structure: As per job role and location of training

Assessment and Certification:The participants will be subject to continuous evaluation and written examination at the end of the session. Successful candidates will be empanelled as Certified Assessors by HSSC.

Outcome of the training:

a) Certified Assessors will be considered competent to assess as per HSSC norms

b) Certified Assessors would be empanelled in HSSC list of certified assessors.

c) Empanelled Assessors will be given assessments to be performed in HSSC affiliated training institutes and will be paid honorarium and travel expenses for the same.

d) The Assessors will have to undergo a refresher capsule after every review of national occupational standards.

Note:

a) Each Training Session is specific to a job role

b) To avoid conflict, assessor should not be associated with any training partner. For which they have to submit undertaking in HSSC format

c) Assessor authorization is mandatory for all HSSC accredited assessing bodies.

d) Boarding/ Lodging and Travel of the candidates to the training venue will be the responsibility of the candidates or their respective assessing bodies.

e) Master training sessions are conducted based on a healthy batch size.

f) As of now we cannot commit any locations for future Master Training Sessions.

g) We will keep you informed about our next master training session soon.

h) Empanelment with HSSC is subject to clearance of examination held at the end of 2 day training.
